Unite, Unite

Dear Readers,

Unite, Unite:

Have you ever gazed up at the sky

wondering why

you feel so humble?

On a starry night

where everything is bright

and lit up like a lantern leading the way. Read More »

To my Friends

Dear Readers,

I’m back again!

I wrote a couple of extra posts in the half-term, and this is one of them, so I’d thought I’d take advantage of the situation and do an extra post mid-week! Yay! I hope you all enjoyed reading my Q&A with Maggie, from Dreaming of Guatemala, it was such a fun post to make & highly requested so I hope it didn’t disappoint! 🎉 *thank you once again to Maggie! 😂*

Recently at school, things haven’t been so great with my friends *sighs*, so I decided to write down my thoughts in a letter entitled ‘To my Friends’ in order for me to get everything off of my chest. I thought I’d share it with you all incase you’re going through a similar rough patch to me, or incase you do in the future, as of course this is just life! 😌 I know I can be quite positive in my posts, so I also thought it is also useful for you all to see that I am human too, and I do feel the same way as everyone else. Thankfully, things seem a lot better, so I am hopeful that everything should be back to normal soon ☺️. Read More »

What is beauty?

Dear Readers,

Today I want to talk about beauty, being / feeling beautiful & self- acceptance. We are all beautiful in our own way, but some people don’t seem to get or appreciate this common fact. I know that I for one don’t always feel pretty and can get frustrated for who I am: this shouldn’t be happening though. I’m sure that many other tweens/ teens/ YA’s get what I’m trying to say here, we experience a lot of pressure from our peers at both school and online nowadays.

Dear Readers,

So today I am going to be talking about quite a sensitive subject, in my opinion. A few of my close friends & family members struggle with dyslexia every day, so I thought that I’d let them share their opinion on what it is like being dyslexic, and how dyslexia helps & hinders them on a daily basis.

This post has been hard to write, from both their perspectives and from mine, so please do be kind, supportive & commend these people for sharing their voice on a topic close to their hearts. Read More »

Bookish Thoughts

Dear Readers,

Hellooooooo everyone!! I’m so happy as it’s finally half-term for me – like what?!?! I’ve been waiting for this day for ages, and now it’s finally here! Yay 🎉

Personally, I cannot believe how quickly the first half of term has gone: its had its ups and downs, but I survived (phew 😅).

Bookish thoughts & the Power of Literature

As the title suggests, this post is going to be based on my recent bookish thoughts and the power of literature – so let the bookish musings begin!

Sunset Photography

Dear Readers,

I’m back! Finally… I can’t tell you how much of whirlwind the start of Year 10 has been; I have been on the literal go non-stop. I guess I didn’t really anticipate that it would be that much of a step up from Year 9, so sorry for not posting for what seems like FOREVER! I can promise you that if I’d previously had the time, I would’ve sat down and written my next blog post!

So, as the title suggests, I am going to be showing you two of my snaps of the sunset we had here a couple of nights back! Read More »
